Reaction Networks and Mechanisms: Discovery and Application in Combustion

Abstract

1) Advance fundamental theory that can be used for generating and modeling complex chemical reaction networks using methods of ab initio quantum chemistry, molecular dynamics, and reaction rate theories at the onset of an investigation. 2) Develop mathematical and computational methods for rational generation and utilization of reaction network models with improved predictivity and reduced dimensionality; 3) Generate computationally adaptable modeling tools for combustion chemistry.
