Structure and Dynamics of Highly Turbulent, Interacting Flames

Abstract

This is an experimental project with the objective of studying flame properties such as flame propagation characteristic, flame shape/topology and interaction of multiple flame. Experimental data and understanding derived from those data will provide foundational information for developing LES models for turbulent reactive flow simulations.
