Progressing Interplanetary Scintillation (IPS) and Faraday Rotation (FR) Stidies for Space Weather Science and Operations

Abstract

In collaboration with RAL Space this project will consider how Interplanetary Scintillation and Faraday Rotation Studies might be used for progressing Space Weather Science and Operations. Met Office activities shall focus on the validation of Interplanetary Scintillation (IPS) - driven Enlil solar wind forecasts against correlative measurements and the inter-comparison of these forecasts with those from WSA Enlil, which is currently run at the Met Office.
