Solving Boltzmann and Fokker-Planck Equations Using Sparse Representation

Abstract

The main purposes of this project are two-fold: Developing ecient adaptive sparse spectral methods for solving electronic Schrodinger equation with a moderate dimension and the Navier-Stokes Fokker-Planck equations; Developing accurate and ecient spectral methods for solving a class of fractional partial dierential equations.
