Quantification of Microstructurally Short Crack Growth in Superalloys

Abstract

The main objective is to perform experiments using multi-modal high-energy x-ray microscopies to obtain new information in three dimensions on the micro-mechanical response of short fatigue cracks in nickel base superalloys.
