A Finite Alphabet Paradigm for Intelligent Autonomy

Abstract

The proposed research aims to lay the groundwork for a new and potentially transformative paradigm for intelligent autonomy in support of the Air Force mission. This paradigm is built around the strategic use of finite alphabet schemes and limited computation as a synergistic means of achieving resilient and scalable autonomy, while avoiding data deluge and simultaneously setting the stage for easier certification down the line.
