Time-Varying Metamaterials: Dynamic Transformation Optics and Parametric Phenomena
Abstract
The objective of this YIP basic research project is to provide a fundamental understanding of the behavior of various electromagnetic metamaterials when they are subjected to temporal modulations. This will add an important aspect to the interest on the part of the Air Force to fielding metamaterial devices which are reconfigurable.
