A High Order Truly Multi-Dimensional Semi-Lagrangian Approach For Vlasov Simulations
Abstract
The objectives are to develop a high-order un-split semi-Lagrangian scheme for simulations of the Vlasov equation. The research, if successful, will significantly advance the state of the art in plasma simulations for the USAF.
