Mid-Infrared Laser Frequency Comb Generation Based on Ultrafast All-Optical Graphene-metasurface Modulators

Abstract

This proposal looks to develop optical frequency combs that function in the mid-infrared wavelength range. This development will support mid-infrared spectroscopy with application to all classes of sensing, including chemical identification, long-range space object detection, and hyperspectral imaging in general.
