(DURIP) Millijoule Class Laser Upgrade for Attosecond Measurements of Band Gap Solids
Abstract
This DURIP proposal from the UC Berkeley requests $ 558,019 to purchase a laser system upgrade. The requested instrumentation will directly enhance the existing AFOSR MURI grant “Studying Ultrafast Electron Dynamics in Condensed Matter with Next Generation Attosecond X-ray Sources," Zenghu Chang, University of Central Florida, principal investigator, start date December 15, 2014.
