Models and Protocols for Quantum Distributed Computation

Abstract

This exploratory research leverages ideas from quantum information and computation to formulate new security concepts for classical computation and distributed networks. With this novel approach, security of computation and communication in distributed networks (without a centralized authority) can significantly be augmented without the requirement of universal quantum computation and the full strength of quantum network communication.
