Multi-Material Bulk Deposition And Characterization System For Accelerated Materials Discovery And Design

Abstract

The multi powder additive manufacturing system is expected have broader impact in US in scientific understanding of multifunctionl materials as described before. The TEXAS A&M team could push frontier in science in two very specific areas (i) high temperature shape memory alloys, and (ii) Half-Heusler alloys. Both of these topics can be pivotal for the US and currently US lagging behind of Europe.
