Abstract

Acquisition of a high resolution, 5 MHz-rate intensified digital camera, which will be coupled with ultrafast laser and x-ray sources to enable in-situ monitoring of damage initiation, propagation, and hot-spot evolution in energetic and granular materials under dynamic loading.
