Equipment For Centralization, Management, And Data_Intensive Analysis Of Unique Hypersonic Flow Database
Abstract
To centralize and manage the database created by this PI and her co-workers from current and prior AFOSR grants, and to enable effective access and analysis of the data by multiple users. Whereas they will continue to rely on DoD HPC systems to generate the numerical data, analysis of such data requires correlations, conditional statistics, searches, tracking in time of sophisticated definitions of features, and visualizations. These operations are also required over the hundreds of Terabytes across the various flow conditions, by several researchers working on different aspects. The interactions with the data are very intense and with frequent I/O over accurate and detailed data, which include datasets that are already a decade old and remain invaluable.
