Exploring Topological Insulators for Flexible/Conformal Power Harvesters

Abstract

This program will examine the basic thermodynamics and kinetics of novel, organic, thermo-mechanical energy scavenging systems. These systems are based on layered multicomponent materials topologies that integrate piezo and thermoelectric sublattices allowing for the onset of synergistic behavior.
