Acquisition Of A Femtosecond Laser For Fundamental Research And Education On Multifunctional Materials
Abstract
The PI Prof. Giti Khodaparast proposing to acquire of a Ti:Sapphire based femtosecond laser. The DURIP project is very timely with respect to PI s ongoing AFOSR effort that involve in addition to U. Virginia, the proposed effort will help large number of PI s collaborators who are working on this topic. This project will aid not only Pi s ongoing DOD related project but also will serve as user platform for the PI s ongoing 12 collaborators that are located 9 different institution s.
