3D Stereo Microscope Digital Image Correlation System For High Cycle Fatigue Characterization Of Lightweight Materials

Abstract

The objective of this proposal is to acquire a 3D Stereo Microscope Digital Image Correlation (3DMicro-DIC) system to support research programs at Purdue University. The system is to studythe fundamental mechanisms of fatigue damage processes and crack growth behavior of a number of lightweight alloys.
