Electro-Thermal Models Of Vertical Field Effect Transistors

Abstract

The objective of the project is to provide fundamental insight into the microscopic mechanismsof heat and charge transport in the operation of the devices of interest. It will integrate physics-based, stochastic modeling in design, development, and optimization of vertical field effect transistors, These transistors will be composed of wide bandgap and ultrawide bandgap semiconductor materials. The modeling will couple thermal and electronic transport.
