Dynamics Of Turbulent, Aerodynamically Stabilized Flames

Abstract

The objective of this project is to study the dynamics of aerodynamically stabilized turbulent flames. This proposal is directly motivated by key fundamental knowledge gaps in turbulent combustion, particularly those highlighted by a recent MACCR working group on turbulent combustion in swirling flames.
