Acquisition Of A High-Speed Imaging System For Measurements In Detonation Processes

Abstract

The requested equipment will be used in support of two current Air Force projects targeting the development of rotating detonation engines and other key research areas of interest to the U.S. Department of Defense. Specifically, this detection system will be utilized to acquire non-intrusive optical measurements in turbulent flows, shock waves, fast turbulent flames, and detonation processes.
