Abstract

1. Demonstrate 10 kW MM fiber laser source2. Demonstrate 10 kW SM / low M2 fiber laser source 3. Characterize, investigate, and improve modal stabilities under different operating conditions. Factors to consider include operating gain, fiber design (e.g., gain confinement & NA), resonance characteristics & acoustic properties, and linewidth.(Optional) Demonstrate 25 kW MM fiber laser source
