Quantum Computational Mathematics for Efficient Computational Physics

Abstract

This proposal investigates quantum computational schemes that address the discretizationand numerical solution of complex quantum systems and the associated governing equations of motion. Such system equations constitute sets of coupled partial differential equations that arise from the physics of the nonlinear interaction of anti-commuting Fermi fields, of a Fermi field with a Maxwell field, and of a Yang-Mills-Maxwell field with N multiplet Fermi field.
