Towards deterministic photonic entanglement using time-frequency control

Abstract

Develop multiphoton operation in optical cavity networks and interface quantum dots with broadband atomic ensemble quantum memories in ambient conditions, as work toward creating reliable deterministic generation of single photons for quantum-enhanced simulation and sensing (in short, this is work toward reliable generation of photons for photonic quantum computing, a game-changing effort since lack of reliable sources has been holding back the research field).
