Advanced surface artificial materials for high power microwave sources

Abstract

1st objective is to explore the frequency scalability of the principle of using 2D periodic surface lattices to dispersion-design ideal eigenmodes resulting in higher power microwave sources.2nd objective is to discover whether there are limits to the control of highly overmoded structures using surface artificial materials to dispersion-design higher power microwave sources.
