Enhanced Test Facility for Survivability and Characterization of Evolving Multiscale Materials in Extreme PlasmaEnvironments
Abstract
The main aim is to investigate environmental effects on materials and components and determine long-term survivability of space assets which expected to enhance and extend University of Utah, and propulsion community capabilities of US researchers. Two new synergistic test chambers will be developed, through the addition of novel instrumentation to existing systems.
