The DDDAS Design of Programmable Mechanical Metamaterials

Abstract

The project will create new, DDDAS-based methods, involving mathematical theory and state-of-the-art experiments, data mining tools and , to design and develop fully reconfigurable programmable mechanical metamaterials, and optimize them for impact mitigation and energy harvesting.
