In Situ Formation of 3D Nanostructured Lightweight Polymer Composites
Abstract
The proposed research seeks to develop a new generation of polymer nanocomposites for low-density materials by constructing 3D hierarchical structures in polymer matrices. The technical pathway proposed include developing synergistic behaviors that could improve property per unit mass in low-density materials of interest to the USAF.
