User Interaction for Teaming with Autonomous Systems

Abstract

The future of computer interfaces is in teams that consist both of multiple people, and multiple autonomous agents that cooperate together to solve a problem. While a number of conversational and autonomous systems have appeared recently, their ability to support the sophisticated reflection that occurs when people collaboratively solve problems, is still quite limited.
