TTESLA: Towards Tera-Scale Nonparametric Learning
Abstract
The project aims at developing fast and theoretically sound algorithms for nonparametriclearning and corresponding software implementations. The emphasis is on the large scalenature of the data-set to be processed, in particular data-sets too big to be stored in memory. Theproject will develop flexible architectures for nonparametric learning requiring order of magnitudesless computational resources with respect to state of the art techniques.
