Accountable Predictive Systems
Abstract
In this proposal, the research work toward finding a general theory of program analysis for predictive systems that can account for the systems predictive performances, i.e., predictive systems whose decisions can be accounted for or explained. The PIs will validate their theories on two application domains: network security and predictive policing. The latter can be used to monitor violations of security policies in resource usage.
