Controlled Radar Sensing and Meta-level Tracking

Abstract

This project deals with the statistical signal processing and stochastic control of radars. The aimis to develop a mathematical theory and practical methodologies for three inter-related themes:(i) Controlled Radar Sensing, where radars dynamically adapt their sensing modes to track targets(ii) Meta-level Tracking, where the complex spatial trajectories of targets are estimated giventrack estimates to infer the target’s intent, and (iii) Information fusion of decision makers, where anetwork of radars with automated decision systems interact with each other to reach a consensusin decision making.
