Air Force S&T Strategy 2030 Conference

Abstract

Arizona State University (ASU) is interested in hosting a conference in May 2018 on behalf of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) with the intention of identifying and proposing specific ways that AFRL can be organized and operated to be more effective in developing and transitioning technologies that support Air Force needs. This event will involve members from Skysong Innovations (previously AzTE) in order to leverage their reputation and experience in promoting organizational innovation and technology transfer. It will be an invitation-only workshop with members from not only ASU and AFRL, but also other key organizations such as DARPA and National Laboratories in order to generate a robust dialogue. The event will occur over the course of two days in Phoenix metro, managed by facilitators at ASU, and result in a written report and concrete recommendations that AFRL can leverage.
