A new facility for electrospray propulsion studies with spatial resolution of the full beam and high-resolution mass analysis

Abstract

The objective of the proposed research is fundamental electrospray studies in vacuum, leading to spatial distribution of an electrospray from a single emitter, to identify colloidal, mixed, and purely ionic modes. This objective will be fulfilled by a new facility using multi detectors and high mass resolution in full beam studies through quadrupole mass spectrometry.
