ARES: A simulator for the Advanced Reconnaissance of Earth-orbiting Satellites

Abstract

Provide a test bed for validation of novel methods for high-resolution, ground-based, imaging of targets in the near-earth environment (out to a range of 40 Mm, geo satellite belt). The will enable a realistic assessment of new methods and technologies for space situational awareness.
