Integrated Multi-Physics, Multi-scale Computational Modeling Framework for Multifunctional Applications
Abstract
The proposed research will develop an integrated, multi-scale modeling system coupling electromagnetics, structural dynamics and material damage evolution. It will build upon the computational framework which coupls mechanical and transient electromagnetic fields. It will incorporate spatial multi-scaling for realizing the effect of microstructure and material degradation on multi-physics response functions.
