Decadal Survey on Astronomy and Astrophysics 2020, Astro 2020
Abstract
The astronomy-astrophysics community has carried out assessments of the field approximately every ten years for the last sixty years. These studies have evolved into the primary mechanism for setting priorities in the field and, taken together, they represent the most comprehensive, effective, and long standing effort to construct strategy for a field of research by any community of scientists. The current proposal makes the case that the time is ripe to undertake a new survey.
