LASER-BASED SYSTEM FOR NON-INVASIVELY MEASURING ELECTRON PROPERTIES IN LOW TEMPERATURE, LOW DENSITY PLASMAS

Abstract

The University of Michigan will be able to measure and study the properties of the electrons on low temperature, low density plasmas with the integration of a new laser-based system into their current Plasmadynamics and Electric Propulsion Laboratory. This equipment will directly help support experiments to understanding the temperature, drift, and density of electrons in low temperature, low density plasma.
