(DURIP) NON-RECIPROCAL QUANTUM METAMATERIALS

Abstract

This instrumentation proposal aims for the acquisition of a cryogen-free low-temperature transport system with a 14T magnet and probes that enable access to radio-frequency and nanophotonic experiments carried within the refrigerator cell at very low temperatures. The instrument will leverage our efforts within AFOSR MURI grant No. FA9550-18-1-0379, focused on integrated non-reciprocal metamaterials based on spatio-temporal modulation.
