QUANTUM-TO-BUSINESS (Q2B) - PRACTICAL QUANTUM COMPUTING CONFERENCE

Abstract

In recent years, researchers have produced intriguing results on early small-scale quantum platforms ranging from experiments, simulations and algorithms. These developments show promise, but continued research and development is required to impact applications. Members of industry and government are curious about the current state of the art in QC implementations as well as the potential applications and possibilities that quantum computing can offer as the technology matures. Likewise, various groups who have either built QC implementations or begun to write software for them can benefit from communicating their results, and gain a greater understanding of the requirements for practical applications of QC technology. To bridge this gap, the Quantum-to-Business (Q2B) – practical quantum computing conferences exist to bring together these groups, educate potential end-users of practical QC technology, and give voice to both academic researchers and QC industry developers to help guide their research and production strategies. Q2B 2020 will take place December 8-10, 2020 as a virtual conference. We expect 400-600 attendees including universities, research labs, hardware and software vendors, and commercial businesses.
