Laser Cooling of Polyatomic Molecules

Abstract

Laser cooling and trapping of atoms are the technical foundations of ultracold atomic physics, and have enabled studies of many topics in quantum science such as quantum simulation of exotic states of matter, quantum information processing, and metrology with unprecedented performance.
