Ultra-Wideband Arrays and Beamforming Networks for Agile T and E Telemetry Systems

Abstract

The scientific objective of this research is to develop a new ultra-wideband electronically controllable phased array front-end for Test and Evaluation (T and E) telemetry systems. This objective will be accomplished by pursuing the following specific aims: (Aim #1): Develop compact ultra-wideband antenna arrays with reduced complexity, (Aim #2): Develop ultra-wideband true-time-delay beamforming networks, and (Aim #3): Characterize ultra-wideband phased arrays that integrate the outcomes of Aims #1 and #2.
