LASER SYSTEMS FOR FUNDAMENTAL SPECTROSCOPY OF OXYGEN (02) IN HYPERSONIC AIR FLOWS

Abstract

The acquisition of new ultraviolet (UV) and near-infrared (near-IR) laser systems is proposed to enhance the development of a high-temperature and high-pressure absorption spectroscopy database for molecular oxygen (O2) in service of the development of advanced diagnostic capabilities for highenthalpy hypersonic ground test facilities.
