(YIP) UNDERSTANDING WHITE-LIGHT-EMITTING SEMICONDUCTORS FOR INCOHERENT AND COHERENT LIGHT SOURCES

Abstract

Metal halides (MHs) are an important class of optoelectronic materials combining exceptional optical and electronic properties. An inherent advantage of MHs is their solution synthesis and processability, which render them as very low-cost materials for a range of applications ranging from photovoltaics and photodetection to solid-state lighting.
