LAYERED T&E FOR SAFETY-CRITICAL AUTONOMOUS SYSTEMS

Abstract

As the complexity of autonomous systems increases, with more and more AI driven modules playing critical roles in their operation, developing a means to perform test and evaluation (T&E) in a safety critical fashion becomes ever more pressing. To this end, the proposed work will develop a layered safety-critical framework for T&E with a focus on (semi-) autonomous systems.
