A STUDY OF NONLOCAL THERMAL TRANSPORT BY MEASURING ELECTRON DISTRIBUTION FUNCTIONS ALONG A TEMPERATURE GRADIENT
Abstract
Thermal transport is one of the most fundamental aspects of plasma physics. Detailed understanding of thermal conduction is therefore critical to interpretation and understanding of astro-physical observations, inertial confinement fusion implosions, and magneto-hydrodynamic plasmas, such as those that form in directed energy devices.
