ULTRAWIDEBAND AGILE WAVEFORM AMPLIFICATION FOR ELECTROMAGNETIC SPECTRUM MANEUVER AND SPACE-BASED HIGH DATA-RATE COMMUNICATIONS

Abstract

This project is expected to advance the basic research and fundamental understanding needed for developing the next generation of high-power, high-frequency vacuum electronics amplifiers. Applications such as electromagnetic spectrum maneuver operations and secure, high-data-rate communications are expected to benefit from the findings of this project. In particular, we focus on traveling- wave tubes in this research.
