Three-Dimensional Gust Control with Morphing Wings
Abstract
The overarching goal of this proposed research is to utilize controlled morphing of a small size aircraft wing to alleviate force transients caused by three-dimensional gust interactions. Such force transients are caused by vortices developed on the wing when it moves into such a gust.
