DisCoVor2023 - Direct in-person Colloquium on Vortex Dominated Flows
Abstract
This proposal seeks to request funds for supporting the 2nd Annual Direct in-person Colloquium on Vortex dominated flows (DisCoVor 2023) which is planned to be held in Breckenridge, Colorado (United States of America) from May 16 through May 19, 2023. Unsteady vortex dominated flows, the focus of the DisCoVor 2023 Colloquium, represent a strategic interest of the U.S. Air Force. With DisCoVor, we aim to bring the most prominent research groups from around the world in the field of unsteady, vortex dominated flows together again, to discuss recent progress made in the field, exchange new ideas, and initiate new collaborations.
