There Is More To The Data - Finding The Hidden Pieces of Knowledge
Abstract
The PIs, Dr. Liew and Dr. Kurt, plan to investigate framework(s) for integrating information from multiple diverse heterogenous agents supporting multi-strategy reasoning and learning from different perspectives. The framework(s) will help to (1) study how agents can learn about and adapt to other agents, (2) understand how agents can collaborate effectively, and (3) develop techniques to integrate information from multiple agents. Specially, they want to investigate how this collaboration can be enhanced in the context of solving complex problems that typically require multiple kinds of knowledge, approaches, and coordination between agents. Many of these problems require a multi-disciplinary approach where a deep knowledge of two or more domains are needed to solve the problems.
