Benchmarking, verification, and authentication of resource-restricted quantum hardware using novel quantum control protocols

Abstract

The objective of this proposal is to open a transformational new research direction into quantum dynamical control of resource-restricted quantum systems, and to further use this knowledge to develop benchmarking, verification, and authentication schemes for the full spectrum of emerging quantum systems which lack full gate control and readout capability.
